2021-Internship-Global Banking-France

The Global Banking Team is in charge of the Global Relationship with clients. The Global Banking team is composed of Global Account Managers (Senior Bankers), who are supported by Associates (Origination Relationship Managers (ORM) and Client Managers (CM)).


The team is responsible for:

a) Commercial relationship with the clients:

The GAM and his team identify clients' needs at Head Office level, and have relationship at highest level.

The team also coordinates the different Products Partners in Paris (Financial Markets and Transaction Banking) and in London as well as Asia, Middle-East and Africa (Structured Finance, M&A, Debt Capital Markets).

GAM team closely works with the regional & local Relationship Managers within the network.

b) Credit Responsibilities:

The Client Managers are in charge of the global credit limits and their allocation within the network. It works closely with the Credit Analyst Team and Credit Officers based in London.

c) Deals Execution:

The ORM & CM are participating in the various stages of deals execution (pricing, structuring, business approval, credit approval, doc negotiation and closing).

Key role and responsibilities:

a) Day to day Tasks:

· Annual Credit Reviews: The intern will participate in the annual reviews at group or parent company level. The intern will also participate in the reviews of local credit requests
· Reporting
· Know Your Customer

b) Commercial Tasks:

· Prospection
· Briefing Notes: To prepare meeting with Clients and Prospects.
· Prepare PowerPoint Presentations (Pitches) Ad hoc studies

Particular education background / knowledge needed:

· Fluent in English and ideally French speaker,
· student, BAC+4/5 (Ecole de Commerce or University),
· Advanced Knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and Excel,
· Team Worker.
